watching @jesse.base.eth closely.
Base is still exploring a $BASE token. not confirmed, but not off the table.
why it matters:
- Base is the fastest growing L2
- Coinbase distribution (100M+ users)
- onchain summer proved the playbook works
- every major L2 has a token except Base
if $BASE launches, early Base users probably get rewarded. the meta is clear: use the chain, build on the chain, be visible.
this is how you position for asymmetric upside.
