Although I own eth, and am familiar with base, had no eth on base.
I go to bridge $20 worth of eth from eth to base. Cost $18.80. Ok next.
I go to buy base-eth. I just got money sent in venmo. I go to buy eth with venmo through my wallet (metamask). Cost is $13, and I'm not informed that venmo is much more expensive. Ok next.
I try buying with debt card. Cost is $1. Yay finally! Click the provider. Error. Click the next provider. Error. Click the next. Error.
Give up.
I'm crypto native for 10 years, its insane to think normal users are going to suffer through this process.
