We received so much positive energy, kind wishes, love and support in the past couple of days it really warms my heart and makes me feel so lucky to be a part of this community 🥹💔 

Just wanted to share the progress:

We had an oncologist appointment today to discuss the surgery. It was a little bit of a mixed bag:

Bad news:
- the tumor is inflamed, so we have to work on reducing that inflammation before considering surgery. Lada will be taking anti-inflammatory pills until the next appointment on May 3rd, do hope they work and we can move forward with the surgery 🙏 I'm only worried it doesn't get worse in the meantime.
- also the doctor cautioned me about being too optimistic, with a tumor this size there can be relapses after the surgery, chemotherapy might be needed, and it might not be successful.

Good news:
- blood results came back stellar, which means there is no wide spread infection 🥳
- Lada generally feels fine, enjoys life, food and attention from us ❤️‍🩹

A little update about Lada:

We had another oncologist appointment today to see if the anti-inflammatory pills worked.

The vet said they did but also that on further examination the tumor doesn't look too good and we have to do a CT scan of it to see how far it has spread 😔 

Found a vet clinic that does that, we're going on Monday.
