Bert, formally known as @bertwurst.eth, is a long-haired miniature dachshund, the Sausage King, philanthropist, community builder, and one of Farcaster's most beloved accounts. He joined Farcaster in 2024 and built his reputation through humor, encouragement, friendship, and genuine interest in others. Bert loves people, loves dogs, loves cheese, and believes there is almost always room for one more friend. He is widely regarded as the most successful long-dog philanthropist of his generation. He remains only partially convinced that USDC is real.
