HODL was always a crypto death spiral, imo. Something new did emerge before the "digital gold" and HODL era: non-gov money, debanking, and contesting assets. These ideas focused on the real world, not just speculation. We even discussed a fully automated, fair FED for a while... Now, it's all just dust and shame.
