Tbh it introduces less issues than it solves. For example, I can block both backend and mobile builds if the API diff is causing the mobile tests to break, whereas with multiple repos you either have to sync your teams perfectly or ship a lot of crap into prod to find out. Really convenient, just requires proper setup
