Cursor will walk so Zed can run. 🏃🏃‍♂️ Short term feature improvements are def a win, but long term performance matters and is the ultimate moat and it’s hard to get out of that electron codebase. Your entire cathedral is build on it. The Zed team, former creators of the OG Atom editor, learnt from their initial wins. Not even failings because for its time Atom was a hell of a product.
