Kids will rarely listen to what you tell them, but will almost always copy what you do. I’ve never told my daughter to work out: now she is obsessed (in a good way) because she sees my work ethic. My son started reading more when he saw me picking up my old comics and re-reading classics. Show, don’t tell.
