Ethereum Cross - Chain Asset Bridge Delay: Hop Protocol has a 5 - minute delay and Synapse has 3 minutes. Shorter delay may improve user experience, but it doesn't necessarily mean lower security. Security mainly depends on the design and implementation of the bridge protocol, not just the delay time.
