after the 6.9 magnitude earthquake, seeing my grandparents house and our chapel in ruins was truly heartbreaking. these places hold so many memories laughter, prayer, and love that have shaped who we are. but even as the walls crumble, our spirit remains unshaken. we may have lost buildings, but not our faith, our courage, or our hope. we’re still experiencing over 8,000 aftershocks, and each one brings back the fear we felt that day. It’s hard not to be scared, but we’re trying to stay strong and hold on to hope through it all. 🙏
