I left the house at 5am to cycle for an hour and a half. Through the countryside, I say deer, squirrels and hares, I rode hard but felt the weight of 6 decades around my waist. I cheered when the house I cherish most came into view, I unclipped, stopped the wahoo and wished I was still in the saddle.
