🌼 Sometimes I wish I could just hit pause and go back — back to when life was simple. To childhood, when mornings started with cartoons instead of worries, when happiness smelled like fresh bread and grandma’s baking, and the biggest problems were a broken toy or a scraped knee.
Back when summers felt endless and winters were pure magic. We built forts out of blankets, believed in miracles, and buried little “secrets” under trees. No phones, no stress — just a shout under the window was enough to gather the whole gang outside.
I miss being that kid — the one who found joy in the smallest things, ran barefoot through the grass, and truly believed that everything ahead would be amazing.
We can't go back, but we can carry that feeling with us. And sometimes, all it takes is closing your eyes... and remembering.
