After two long and very terrifying days of unknowns, Heathie is now sleeping peacefully at home with Shadow, and we're reassured with the knowledge that at least he has no internal bleeding or broken bones. Absolute miracle really, to be hit by a car and come away without catastrophic injury. He's limping around, but is mostly in good spirits. We're administering an anti-inflammatory and painkiller for the next week and keeping him indoors. I am so fucking livid at whoever hit a cat, and ran away. At the same time I am grateful that the neighbourhood immediately came to his rescue and found me so I could take him to the vet. Immediate action very likely made a huge difference between life and death. I'll try to drop my rage and just be super thankful that Heathcliff is safe with us. 🥹🙏🐈 arfy luvs u my ginger boi. ❤️‍🔥
