You make a lot of sense. I also splashed out for the highest tier subscription on X as I hoped it would help my engagement (I use it for work mostly in the crypto industry)... and it's fucking shambolic... or scambolic I would even say! FC is different, and I recognize that. For one it's not run by Elon Musk, and I actually *want* to support FC. But... yeah, got my doubts. Less around the money, more around what I feel will be the outcome over time. But $120 annual is not exactly a smol sub, you're defs right.
