Itβs also a new learning phase for us as parents. It was tough to let go, but me and my partner got a renewed energy boost to make the most of the slightly less time with them. A bit more βmeβ time helped be much more creative with ideas for the family activities. Enjoy this next phase! β¨
A big change is coming in January, starting a 7 year training for hematology and oncology. Truly believe the daily contact with patients and therapies will strengthen the research hypothesis I will continue developing in my labs. Time to listen, time to learn, time to help.
We too in, our lives, must defragment every so often. Just like some of us did to our old PCβs back a while ago. We hoard tasks, wishes, hobbies, connections and what not - spreading time as a thin until it holds no more. Bad habit, fragmenting too much.
I researched for a decade on cell therapy - ultra focused on optimization of multiple molecular details to make effective therapies. The last weeks in patient care helped me zoom out and see a much bigger picture. Much needs improvement on the bench to bedside journey of drug development.
