A month ago I started taking on freelance design work and September turned out busier than I planned. I'm working with one of my favourite design studios and a past colleague on 6 projects across 2 clients and 15 billed days. The work spanned UX, UI, visual design and graphic design for digital and print in medical, property, charity and mental health. I wouldn't have predicted that mix and I've really enjoyed it. Outside the client work I caught up with another old colleague and met a new studio I'm hoping to make something with soon. I'm booking now for October and November and availability is limited.
