Started ADHD meds yesterday for the first time at the big age of 39. They’re non-stimulants so I know I’ll have to wait to feel the effects but it still feels pretty good to have finally gotten here.
It took a lot of time and self-advocacy and was costly financially but I’m proud of myself for finally prioritising me.
I hope they work for me – wish me luck and send advice if you’ve been through this too 🩵
