Good points
it can be subjective, which is why I think getting this right can be valuable - GPT brought up an interesting distinction:
- Personas = how people interpret the product
- Cohorts = what they are doing right now
where cohorts are an ephemeral subset of personas
a specific example: you can use farcaster to trade or talk, but "trader" and "talker" (lol) are not really personas in this framework
sure you can graduate trader to persona, it's tempting, and can be a legitimate way to steer product decisions
