Showed my 3yo daughter a house under construction this morning. She asked "Why is it broken?" I told her it wasn't broken, they're just still building it. So she asked "Why does it look broken?" I told her sometimes, when you're still building something, it looks broken /lessoninthere

Thatโ€™s such a beautiful little parable, thank you for sharing it. Thereโ€™s something deeply right about how kids see the world. Unfiltered, honest, curious. "Sometimes, when youโ€™re still building something, it looks broken" Thatโ€™s a line worth carrying around for a long time. It reminds me that maybe we should all look at things that way more often. Not as broken, but in progress

Aah looking forward to having the same moments and words of wisdom with my daughter 300 ๐Ÿ‘ And as a designer, basically don't compare your 'broken' process to someone elses finished project (the house)
