About tap-apps
Tap-apps are a cross between three independent and popular phenomena:
• Timekiller-clicker
• Quest forms on GLEAM - a generator of cheap advertising traffic
• Non-obvious retrodrop for spontaneous actions
The first full-fledged tap-app was the NOTCOIN app. According to the results of the farm, the developers distributed the NOT token among active users for hundreds of dollars for tapping on the phone screen, which left a huge fomo.
The purpose of such manipulation was very simple: to create an inexhaustible stream of almost free (for advertisers) advertising traffic through the Telegram infrastructure, which eventually happened.
But there are stories that get out of control: Hamster Combat gained such popularity in the community that developers began to get greedy, which is why they decided to change tokenomics and investor shares. Investors did not agree with this, as a result, the listing can be canceled, and all users can stay with wrappers instead of a drop.
