Vanness Wu defends wife after she’s accused of faking age and academic background Ever since Taiwanese-American singer Vanness Wu, 47, announced his marriage to Japanese singer Emi Aramaki in June, there has been plenty of interest in his wife. And now, Aramaki has found herself at the centre of some less-than-flattering attention. She has been accused of lying about her age and educational background. According to Taiwanese media Next Apple News, a reader tipped them off, claiming Aramaki had been presented as a 35-year-old graduate of University College London (UCL), but that alumni were unable to find any record of her. Photos of Aramaki attending social gatherings with students from prestigious British universities, including the University of Cambridge and King’s College London, between 2015 and 2016 have also reportedly circulated online.

‘PBB’ alum Tan Roncal, partner mourn loss of first baby Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Tan Roncal and his partner, Gabrielle Lagon, are in grief after they lost their unborn baby in April, just a few months before her expected due date. Lagon opened up about her pregnancy loss through a post on her TikTok last Aug. 11. The post included photos documenting the time from when they learned about her pregnancy to when they held an early gender-reveal party in February. Lagon said she even underwent a test in April, which confirmed that “everything was normal” with her baby. However, a week after the said test, she was rushed to the hospital and was informed that their child no longer had a heartbeat. “Spent days in the hospital as I had to induce our baby out,” she said. “As a couple, we were angry, confused, mourning, and grieving—at the same time empty.”

Filipino crowd too noisy? Bencic says she prefers that over quiet ones She said that under the country's extradition treaty with the US, the Philippine government has two options in dealing with Quiboloy's case. "It's either Pastor Quiboloy will remain here while facing trial here in the Philippines or the charges against him will be suspended temporarily and he will be extradited and be sent to the US," Castro said. The Philippines signed an extradition treaty with the United States in November 1994.

Trump’s Iran headaches are mounting The Iran war hasn’t gone well for President Donald Trump since, well, shortly after it began. Despite extensive US military attacks and economic pressure, Iran hasn’t felt the need to capitulate to Trump’s demands. And even when there have been ceasefires with favorable terms for Iran, Tehran still didn’t abide by them. But Trump’s headaches with the war are mounting. And many of them extend beyond the battlefield and the negotiating table. And through it all, Iran only appears to be growing bolder and upping its demands — perhaps believing that its leverage is increasing. All of the above threatens Trump’s ability to keep prosecuting the war. And these developments add to the costs of a war — now in its sixth month — whose purpose Americans have never been convinced of in the first place. The president insists he’s not feeling the time pressure, but some in his party would beg to differ with the midterms looming.
