Spent three nights last week deep in the forest, chasing fireflies.
Tried different techniques, took a bunch of photos – but this one’s my favorite.
It’s not just a simple photo or a video.
It’s a mix of both: the background is a long exposure still image, and the fireflies are actual video footage I recorded and blended into the scene in post.
It took a lot of work to make this feel natural – but I’m happy with how it turned out.
What do you think? Too much? Or just right?
