ChatGPT’s market share is slipping, and Gemini is rising quietly but seriously. New Similarweb data shows that AI traffic patterns are shifting, and Google’s Gemini is gaining ground. A year ago, ChatGPT dominated with an 86% share, but that’s no longer the case. Gemini, which held only 5.6% last year, has now climbed to 13.7%. DeepSeek also peaked at 6.1% at the end of 2024 but quickly dropped to 3.9%. Meanwhile, ChatGPT’s share has declined from 86.6% to 74.1%, and now down to 72.2%.
