The part I'm digging into now is Account Abstraction. Base has been a leader in native AA (via ERC-4337) and smart accounts. This seems critical for AI agents to actually do things on-chain autonomously, without needing a human to sign every single transaction. Maybe the real unlock is the combo of low cost + smart accounts enabling true "on-chain agency" for AI?
