I came to a turning point in my culinary adventure last summer. I was obviously a foodie, but I tended to stay in places I knew well. Then I came into "Taste of the Town," a neighborhood gathering that featured food from several downtown eateries. My palate was expanded by the lively ambiance, variety of cuisines, and enjoyable samples.
