It’s funny how tech inculcates a culture of having eyes bigger than your stomach by valorizing immature success And then we chastise a young man for expressing the basal desires of that culture I suppose it’s a matter of etiquette— you’re not supposed to *say* these things, especially with such little tact

It just seemed a bit egocentric of a take.. idk fc video is weird.. pardon me for not being from the tech industry and I just came back to FC a month ago but calling it broken etiquette seems reductive.. he didn’t hurt my wee sense of courtesy, he just seem like a douchebag. Just makes me wonder who these video casters think their audience is Like idk I was on here a year ago and left and when I came back I stayed for the dachshund pics 🤷♂️ Fr tho y do I care

I’m just saying, you can’t take the person out of the culture that informs their value system Don’t hate the player, hate the game

First of all I always feel free to hate on players unabashedly and they can choose a different game if they don’t like it. But are you saying we shouldn’t hate on him as he’s just playing the game or that he’s critiquing the game not the players? I’m missing I think Either way in this analogy I think he’s just not sportsmanlike. I was getting the sense that FC wants to be a build together kind of place.. so whatever “sportsmanship” is here I would just think it should be worth more than whatever could be dismissed as “etiquette”
