2/ nicepfp.art, the website, does the drawing in browser. This is a limitation of the underlying ml5 library. There are ways to get around that limitation, but if you want to have the drawing effect, the drawing must happen inside the browser.

3/ Frames are cool and all, but they have lots of limitations. First of all, there's no interactivity. There's no javascript, there's no react, there can be no p5.js to do the drawing. Frames are images and buttons and that's it.

4/ I said there are ways to get around nicepfp.art image generation happening in the browser, and indeed, it can be done. It is a bit cumbersome, but you can use puppeteer to basically act as a browser and take a screenshot.
