From someone who is trying to implement their own idea of what an Ethereum app should do. The idea is as old as the blockchain. Remove the middleman. Web3 offers a lot of magic to do it but it's hard to compete with web 2 because you have to drag the complexity of the blockchain with you and abstract the complexity for the user.Idea is not hard, implementation is hard

What if we don't need a cryptonative social network but instead build the blockchain and smart contracts in such a way that they bring social functions with them?

If a lot of points-based loyalty programs migrate to the blockchain in the next 5-7 years, I see a large liquidity market for these points. Imagine Uniswap where you can exchange your Starbucks points for Lufthansa miles to get a good seat. This is going to be incredible
