Heading: Epistle from 1872: whose initials does this stone keep? When I was disassembling the site before the construction site, I found this stone with carved letters and the number 1872. Then I thought it was just someone’s memory of the past. But now more and more often I catch myself thinking: whose exactly? Who left their mark here 150 years ago? I want to know: 🔎 What traditions did such inscriptions have in the XIX century? 🔎 Where to look for archives about the inhabitants of this territory? 🔎 Maybe someone will recognize the initials?
