I’ve been building since 2011 (anything that powers the web — python, js/ts, rails, etc) and following ethereum essentially since launch — and I must admit — I have almost 0 clue what the hell is actually happening with the ethereum dev ecosystem. Ive been fascinated w the possibilities since 2015 — decentralized public tooling excites me the most. I come on platforms like here to learn and the diction is foreign. I feel that the nuances are hyper removed from traditional web tech (perhaps rightfully so). I say this as a career engineer, where I’ve spent my entire working life in startups. Am I the only one that feels that even as a dev, ethereum is still too hard to use?

Days like today are perfect examples of where ethereum can shine. Aws is cheap, easy, and familiar, but every so often the ugly nature of centralization rears its head. Why don’t we have aws on ethereum yet? Who is building this?
