Twenty years later, The Strokes still amaze the world I listened to Is this it many times around 2018. At that time, the Strokes had not released a new album for a long time. I thought they would be like many independent bands that shined in the early 21st century, and they went silent after their creative desire and inspiration slowly dried up. After seven years of silence, The Strokes returned with "The New Abnormal". This sixth studio album, which came out in April 2020, opened a new chapter in their music career. This album is a tribute to the past, an interpretation of the present, and a look into the future. In the ever-changing music world, The Strokes defines the "new normal" of rock music in their unique way.

The end of the first movement--KC Series 4 Islands, the last studio album before King Crimson's early days. Islands was released in December 1971. The full-length album contains six tracks. From an artistic point of view, Islands shows a completely different aesthetic orientation from its predecessor Lizard. If Lizard is a bold avant-garde experiment, then Islands is an inward artistic exploration. The entire album takes the ocean and islands as the core images to construct a poetic musical world. The highlight of this album is still the last track of the same name. This is one of KC's most poetic works in his early years. This 11-minute track begins with a piano solo, creating a deep meditative atmosphere through delicate changes in instrumentation and ethereal vocals. The metaphor of the island in the lyrics not only implies the loneliness of individual existence, but also points to the eternal pursuit in artistic creation. "The joy of violence will end with violence", which seems to be KC's fate
