The end of the first movement--KC Series 4 Islands, the last studio album before King Crimson's early days. Islands was released in December 1971. The full-length album contains six tracks. From an artistic point of view, Islands shows a completely different aesthetic orientation from its predecessor Lizard. If Lizard is a bold avant-garde experiment, then Islands is an inward artistic exploration. The entire album takes the ocean and islands as the core images to construct a poetic musical world. The highlight of this album is still the last track of the same name. This is one of KC's most poetic works in his early years.
