Maybe this has something to do with age: Hawker's average age is more than 60 years, and the C language used in Python via numpy, etc., in vectorization is 54 years.
The older you are, the higher the chance of converting experiences into efficiency, which may be true for hawkers in Singapore and C programming language alike.
