Before you argue with someone, ask yourself: “Is this person mentally mature enough to understand the concept of a different opinion?” If not, there’s no point in arguing.(More casual, everyday English version:)Before you get into an argument with somebody, ask yourself: “Is this person grown-up enough to get that people can have different views?” If the answer’s no, just don’t bother.
