The movie 🎬 “To Kill a Monkey” teaches a hard truth: betrayal doesn’t always come from enemies. Sometimes, it comes from those closest to you.
Oboz slept with his “brother’s” daughter, and Efe later killed the very person who once trusted him — Oboz. I got emotional when Oboz tried to shield Efe from being shot, not knowing that, sadly, Efe was the one behind it.
Should we say Oboz got what he deserved? Maybe.
But one thing is certain: not everyone who stands beside you truly stands with you.
Some people smile in your face while quietly preparing your downfall.
