@coinbase @base.base.eth 100,000+ people are about to walk into EDC… and many of them haven’t touched crypto yet. That’s the opportunity. I’m an ambassador + creator documenting the full experience — and I want to bring Base into that story in a real way. We will be camping at the event come say Hi at the green bus. Who can I connect with?
The CLARITY Act pause feels frustrating to some — but to me, it feels necessary. Rushing “clarity” that benefits institutions more than people breaks the point of crypto. Transparency, on-chain borrowing, and stablecoins exist because the old system wasn’t built for fairness. Roadblocks aren’t defeat — they’re feedback. This is a moment to pivot, not settle. I shared my full thoughts here if you’re navigating this shift too: 👉 https://alohacrypto.org/f/the-clarity-act-is-postponed-%E2%80%94-this-isn%E2%80%99t-defeat-it%E2%80%99s-a-pivot
When the fog clears, we keep building. Not for the banks. Not for legacy systems dressed up as progress. But for the people. True clarity isn’t rushed legislation — it’s thoughtful structure that protects innovation, access, and individual freedom. Coinbase has always stood at that intersection: willing to engage, but unwilling to support frameworks that benefit institutions before everyday users. Crypto was never meant to recreate the old system with new technology. It was meant to free it. So we build through the noise. We question what doesn’t serve the many. And we wait for clarity that empowers — not control disguised as compliance. When the fog clears, the builders will still be here. 🌊
