Impeachment court pina-subpoena 2 ex-Landbank managers
MANILA, Philippines — Ipapatawag ng Senate impeachment court ang dalawang dating opisyal ng Land Bank of the Philippines para dumalo sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa Hulyo 29, 2026.
Inatasan ni Senate impeachment presiding officer Sen. Francis Escudero na maglabas ng subpoena nitong Miyerkules ng gabi para kina Violeta Constantino at Nenita Camposano, dating managers ng Landbank-Shaw Boulevard (Mandaluyong City) branch at DepEd branch.
Ipiprisinta sila ng House Prosecution panel bilang testigo sa kasong nakasaad sa Article 1 ng apat na Articles of Impeachment laban kay Duterte—culpable violation of the Constitution, graft and corruption, at betrayal of public trust. Kaugnay ito sa umano’y maling paggamit ng P612.5 milyong confidential at intelligence funds ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd) noong siya pa ang kalihim.
