Ethereum has completely fumbled the lobbying and DC influence bag in America The lack of focus in America by the EF, mainly led by political bias, has always infuriated me I am aware of community led efforts popping up now that can fix it but we must act fast

In FOCIL breakout #2 - it's really impressive how much progress is being made both by researchers and by each of the clients. There's lots of active interest in Ethereum's censorship resistance

To me the really important thing here is creating funding structures that durably incentivize open source, open standards and security, disincentivize walled-garden mentality and extractiveness, and generally promote being a positive-sum participant toward your wider ecosystem.

Concerned about the capital gravity well on the L1. Concerned that L2s will soon be faster and cheaper than alt L1s. Concerned to see next gen interop coming online. Have to slow down growth for the sake of ETH ETFs. They need time to catch up their allocation while still cheap.

In any case, there are likely good reasons for people to use the L1. It's the same reasons we expect institutions to use Ethereum L1 (censorship resistance, network effects, liquidity, etc.). These are power users with requirements not met by the L2 roadmap in the current form.
