Music has funny ways to find you. Red Hot Chili Peppers is a band I used to hate on as a teenager. I was too much into hiphop & RnB, and they were already way too mainstream for me by the time I heard about them. But the other day, I stumbled upon Flea's latest album and its cover of Frank Ocean's "Thinkin' about you", and I was like "Wait, what??". It got me to explore the album, and I was pleasantly surprised by this Jazz album basically, from the bassist of a band I had always seen as a pop rock band. Fast forward a few weeks after that, and I see they made a documentary on the RHCP on Netflix, specifically about the early days, and the passing of one of the original band member, Hillel. It really touched me emotionally, and got me to change my view about the band, knowing how they formed, their punk origins, their struggles etc. So yeah, 30 years later, I'm now officially a RHCP fan :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4bbUPYMhP8

One weird thing that happened for me here is that, due to the disapearance of many people from the platform, a lot of my followers seem to be ghost followers now. I have barely any interactions on my recent casts, which creates a negative feedback loop where it incentivizes me to cast less. Anyone went through that phase? Any recommendation? Going from scratch again after 3 years here is discouraging lol

I've relaunched Farcapedia! https://farcapedia.vercel.app/ After taking it down 2 months ago, I reworked it from scratch and added a few new features like user tagging or image display inside the articles. As a reminder, Farcapedia is meant to be a community based knowledge base for the Farcaster ecosystem. Anything that relates to the protocol, the clients, the miniapps, the culture, the memes etc...Can be added there by anyone (right now I made it fully open). Articles can be edited through "suggestions", pending approval by the community. I hope everyone will embrace this mini-app and make it a place for discovery, as well as a place for beginners to go to and get some context about what's going on in the Farcaster ecosystem. If you've built a miniapp, a channel, a community, a client etc...Please write and article about it and share it with others! You can also tip the authors you thought wrote helpful articles.
