Been playing chess heavily for the past 2/3 months, and I find it fascinating regarding how attention works. A chess board is relatively small. It's all over your face. Rules are simple as well. you know how each piece moves.
Yet, it is SO easy to make a mistake, get caught up in the flow of moves, and play a wrong move. Kinda crazy how the brain is able to ignore the obvious in certain situations...
