there's nothing quite as insincere as people saying "you have to stay positive no matter what" when you run into problems, it's fully normal to be filled with negative thoughts, pause for a while, then get back on your feet. i think it really pays to stop listening to 99.99% of people. because everyone on social media plays "pollyanna" game. most people don't write their real opinions, they bow to algorithm.
