I do believe that based rollups should be the ultimate endgame for Ethereum (unless something better comes along later of course). Though to have good based rollups, we need to have a better layer 1 - namely, decreasing slot times to at least 2 seconds and implementing

The gas limit will most likely be at 36M by EOY at this rate. Seems like the pump is not stopping even in the face of an holyday. daily average is at 27.3% but by looking at etherscan, it has to be >30% already
