"Model staleness" is basically what happens when an AI model starts losing its "edge" because the world has moved on, but its brain is still stuck in the past. Think of it like a GPS that hasn't been updated in three years it’ll still try to give you directions, but it’ll probably tell you to turn onto a road that’s now a one way or lead you straight into a new shopping mall.
