The amount of drama that occurs in a lab is actually wild: I am 90% sure my masters student is sleeping with another PhD in my lab… they arrive together and leave together and I even bumped into them together on the weekend.
Tbh when ur in the lab 12 hours a day where else are you gonna meet someone. I will say it creates a weird dynamic where the masters student naturally goes to the PhD for advice rather than me so I’m kinda redundant now.
Since so many Imperial students are Chinese, you could work a Mandarin plotline into the story too. So much could be done with this!!
