oh and I'm 100% certain that the Superfluid Token paid out to AlfaFrens users in S1 and S2 will equal many times the potential payout from AF tradability

there is a deep misunderstanding about how tokens work in this question

tokens are not innately valuable, people have to provide liquidity and believe the token will increase in value

plus, it creates significant legal and reputational risk for the teams that release tradable tokens if they don't perform as planned

since AlfaFrens is being sunset, there's no reason for anyone to provide liquidity or buy the token, so there is no good outcome possible for making the token "withdrawable"

yes, alfafrens winding down is not a success case for us or our users, we spent a significant amount of time, money and effort developing it and it's sad to have to pivot. nonetheless, millions of $ worth of DEGEN and ETH were paid out to creators.

I'm replying to you sincerely but this is the last thing I'll say about it - you're mistaken if you think that allowing people to withdraw AF would mean a payout for anyone at all

I had $300 in my alfafrens account and when I withdrew funds it said I only received .97 cents so there is something not right.

af an in app token we used for staking and spending. since we’re no longer continuing work on that app, it won’t be withdrawable or tradable. we didn’t want to put up liquidity for something that wouldn’t really hold value outside the app. you’ll still be able to withdraw your sparks and your SUP keeps growing across new and older apps.

I return to this platform every now and then to check when @alfafrens will make a decision on the $AF launch they alluded to over a year ago but I guess they just avoided it altogether. The extraction maxis smile as they make your hard earned $AF officially worthless on this day. Another sad day for this space as scams abound. It's a shame really.
