Thanks for the input @wylin. Agree completely. Human actors should remain active in civic engagement and discourse. Recent research theorizes AI agents can augment and enhance this human-centric process such that humans are prompted to engage more substantively in civic discourse, not only with the agent but with one another. Please keep the comments and considerations coming! Loving the dialogue thus far.

Thanks for this comment @frog. It’s really interesting—both theoretically and practically—to consider the various ways in which an AI agent can effectively engage with a community. While representation is one possibility, I agree AI agents can also contribute to governance in a meaningful way by catalyzing human discourse and involvement through synthesizing community sentiment, suggesting proposals based on this sentiment, and posing questions on human-generated proposals. Really appreciate this feedback as we continue this effort!

Thanks for sharing! We agree. Creating an agent to specialize in DAO governance theory and act as an institution memory for the DAO are critical considerations when designing an effective and legitimate agent.
