This matches my experience with Kubernetes. It’s great for handling stateless workloads but running anything with state is a pain and needs to be carefully thought out.
If you are willing to deal with public transit to avoid driving then anywhere along the Expo line from Downtown to Santa Monica would be a good options to check out.
Abbott Kinney Blvd is probably your best bet in Venice itself. ‘The Butchers Daughter’ has good vegetarian food and ‘Felix Trattoria’ decent Italian. Lots of other places on the Blvd are worth checking out. It does get crowded on the weekends so plan accordingly. Hope this helps.
The success of Pair Programming as a learning tool depends on the attitudes and personalities of the participants. The understanding that the learning is supposed to go both ways is key to success. Given circumstances where it does pay off are limited, it should be used sparingly.
