Everyone should be wary of scams masquerading as x402 tokens and minting as a scam:
x402scan is merely a browser. While it has some indexer functionality, it cannot "verify" the terminal projects hosted there. It only scans on-chain USDC transactions and displays the data; it does not provide any guarantees or warranties and cannot guarantee the security of any project.
x402 is essentially an AI-powered payment protocol, not a coin issuance protocol. The fact that Ping worked was merely a stress test conducted by x402scan. This doesn't necessarily mean future projects will be the same. Don't give in to FOMO.
In this chaotic and chaotic period of new narrative, everyone must be mindful of security risks.
