Ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro is set to make his first court appearance in New York City on Monday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
The hearing will take place before U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein in the Southern District of New York.
The appearance follows the unsealing of a new indictment in a long-running U.S. drug trafficking case that has targeted Maduro for years.
