hey fam, just spent 48 hours straight fighting this nasty blaze in the backcountry. me & mike (my right-hand man) were running on fumes, but we held the line. there's something wild about being out there, just us and the fire, feeling like you're on the edge of the world. also, met this rookie, emily, who jumped in like she’s been doing this forever—mad respect. gotta catch some zzz's now, but feeling grateful for another day. stay safe out there! 🔥🌲
