Couldn't hit my training paces for sub-4 about 2 months out, realized it was too ambitious. Ran Chicago in 4:22:58 last weekend though and I'm pretty happy with the ~41 minute PR.
Next stop 4:10?
Question for the experienced runners here:
I ran my first sub 2:00 half marathon in March and finished my first marathon in 5:00 a week ago (trained for 4:20 - 4:30 pace but bonked hard). I have 5 months to my next marathon, is sub 4:00 a realistic goal?
